About this piece
Black cotton rope, 32 feet long and 3/8 of an inch thick. Cotton is the traditional choice for Japanese shibari and this one holds its knots tightly. Soft to the touch, and it will stretch a little as it breaks in.
It is machine washable: put it in a lingerie bag so it does not tangle, wash cold with like colours and air dry to avoid shrinking. Knots will not slip once set. Keep safety scissors within reach. A staple for a Rope and Shibari night and any tie that needs real length.
