About this piece
A pirate costume with a good tailor. The burgundy velvet bodysuit has brocade and a ruffle collar attached at the neck, so the drama is built in. The puff sleeves come separately and pull on.
Velvet and jacquard give it weight, which keeps it from looking like a shortcut. It works for a Pirates and Shipwreck night and it fits a Masquerade and Masked Ball room. Boots, hat, sword, in that order.
