Plus size opaque thigh highs with a lace top, in black, red or white. Opaque means solid colour with no leg showing through, which is what you want under a costume. The lace band at the top is the only decoration, and it is enough.
Queen size, cut to sit at the thigh. Black under most Halloween costumes, white for a nurse or a bride, red for a devil. They also do straightforward duty on a Red Night or a Black and White night when the costume box is closed.
