A 25 foot length of red rope with a polished shine, smooth enough that it does not chafe where it sits. Red is the obvious choice and it still works. Coils tight, unspools clean.
At a fifth of an inch across it holds a knot without going bulky, and the surface glides rather than grips. Add a second colour if one is not enough. Made for a Metallic and Holographic night, on the strength of the shine alone.
